Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions before the title's release, to trainers developing firm views on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique designs that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a mix of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly chosen for Aries, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. Much like a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross, both in its regular and Mega form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's future actions, which seems quite similar to a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

Cancer is commonly considered as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Mega Evolution fills the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to make a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your taste). Players were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is clearly mirrored across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden posts to the group chat when all says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how people are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to keep the peace, there are numerous Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly sad origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained consciousness through pure hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a performance. As a Archer myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right.
