Week 10 again delivered, with a huge upset for the Buffalo Bills proving the 'any Sunday can bring surprises' mantra that attracts so many people into the NFL

This outcome may have opened things up for the Patriots to creep back into a leading position they used to occupy, with a schedule that gives them an advantage over their 8-2 rivals

Over in the National Football Conference the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams had perfect results to set up a monster clash in week 11, while our player of the week is pursuing milestones as well as the Most Valuable Player award

The Breakdown - Simply an Off Day for the Bills?

Josh Allen in action
Was Josh Allen try too much or was it just a poor performance for the Bills?

Could it simply have been an emotional letdown from beating the Chiefs last week or something more? That's the question for the Buffalo team to address

The Bills had won seven in a consecutive games against the Dolphins but were outperformed from the start as the Dolphins ran out 30-13 winners in an eye-opening outcome - and performance

MVP Josh Allen only got the squad's initial first down in the third period and initial scoring in the final quarter - admittedly the Dolphins had ten days to prepare but it was nonetheless a significant failure laid by one of the NFL's top offences

Dolphins quarterback Tua threw two scores but running back De'Von Achane was the devastating difference, with 225 combined yards and two touchdowns

Bottling up the NFL's top rushing attack was also key, with Cook and company registering just eighty-six yards, their fewest of the season and just over half their 161.5 yard average

Additionally there were the three critical ball losses, and the pair from Josh Allen in particular. An interception in the end zone resulting in a nine-minute possession produced nothing, and his final quarter dropped ball that Miami converted to a touchdown just two plays

It was classic 'old Buffalo' as they hurt themselves in the foot, falling into a hole on defense and Josh Allen trying to do too much to rescue his squad from the situation - rather than the composed, controlled, well-balanced Buffalo team we've witnessed this year

Miami have demonstrated a bit of everything this year so the jury's out on if this is the beginning of a trend, but for the Bills they'll need an instant response in a difficult matchup against Tampa Bay in week 11 as the New England are sneaking into a comfortable advantage at the top of the AFC East

In Focus - Patriots See Path to Surprise Top Seed

Speaking of the Patriots, they're one of three different eight and two squads in the league, all American Football Conference sides, but are they the best?

You can find flaws in the Patriots, the Broncos and Indianapolis really for feasting on the weaker opponents, with just five of their combined 24 wins coming against teams with a winning record - and one example was the Colts defeating the Denver

The Broncos defeated the champion Eagles in Philly and are masters of the final quarter while Indianapolis can ride Taylor, but the Patriots adding Sunday's win in Tampa to their primtime success in Orchard Park appears to be a declaration

Their pair of losses occurred in new head coach Mike Vrabel's initial three games, with seven consecutive victories, similar to Denver, since then - but taking down Baker Mayfield after the Bucs had a bye to prepare was significant

Drake Maye's Most Valuable Player credentials continue to be discussed, and he definitely earns credit for bravery after absorbing some hard tackles in Tampa but hanging in there to steer his team to victory

The defense is solid and rookie rusher Henderson burst onto the scene on game day with 147 rushing yards and two exciting touchdowns of 55 and 69 yards - becoming just the fifth runner to break 22mph this season on his initial touchdown

While you can debate who 'the top team' is technically, the Patriots should be favorites to end with the best record thanks to their schedule - which includes just a single matchup against a winning team, although a significant contest against Buffalo

Visiting Baltimore is also tough, but Denver have it more difficult in the AFC West with the Kansas City to play twice, the Chargers (who might also challenge for top seed but encounter the same problem) and additionally the Packers on the fixture list

The Colts also face the Chiefs, and have the Seattle, 49ers and two matchups with the 5-4 Jaguars to face. There's a considerable distance to go but the opportunity is available for a shock top seed in the AFC

Next Week - Rams & Seahawks Set for Week 11 Clash

Two teams with solid claims to be better than all of the three different eight and two teams are National Football Conference West rivals the Seattle and Los Angeles, who each put up forty points to reach 7-2 ahead of the upcoming major game between the two in LA

Both have secured four victories in a row, have quarterbacks in Matthew Stafford and Darnold playing at an elite level (although Darnold had turnover issues on game day) with top receivers, and defensive units allowing under 20 points a contest

Each could easily be undefeated as well - especially the Rams as their pair of losses came in extra time against the San Francisco and then that painful defeat in Philly when they had a potentially winning kick with the last kick blocked and returned by the Philadelphia for a score

Seattle also lost to the 49ers, with a late touchdown in the opening week, before losing to the last kick of the game against the Tampa Bay - so they're truly two of the top teams in the league

The next matchup on Sunday could be the best of the season to date

Top Performer - Taylor

Taylor could be on for a record season after his remarkable performance in Germany - running for 244 yards, scoring three touchdowns and contributing another forty-two {receiving yards
